OPTION 01
Segregated storage
Metals are packaged, labeled, and held physically apart from other customers’ holdings. Ask how your particular items are identified and returned.
CUSTODY & OWNERSHIP COSTS
Storage is part of the account structure. Evaluate it alongside product pricing and administration fees.
Request the dealer premium and a current resale quote for the same product. Then review Equity Trust’s applicable account fees, storage charges, and any transaction or distribution fees. Compare the total cost for the amount and products you actually intend to hold.
IRA metals require an appropriate custody arrangement. Delaware Depository provides precious metals safekeeping, while the IRA custodian handles account administration. Use the custodian’s process to choose the available location and storage method.
Recurring expenses and future distributions can create cash needs even when you intend to hold the metal. Ask how charges are paid, when they are billed, and how a partial sale would work. A storage policy does not protect you from a decline in metal prices.
DELAWARE DEPOSITORY
Discuss the available Delaware Depository arrangement with Equity Trust. Confirm the facility, accepted products, and current terms for your account.

Holdings are allocated in the depository’s records and stored by product alongside other holdings. Confirm what equivalent products you receive on withdrawal.
Personal storage and IRA storage have different account arrangements. For IRA holdings, coordinate changes and distributions through the custodian.
